Beware of Assurant !
Assurant's entire modus operandi is quite simple really: You break or loose your mobile device, you give them money in the form of a deductible which will vary depending on the device type & the circumstances of the LOSS TYPE. They in return will send you a "replacement " device that will be a rebuilt model that some other sucker has returned because that device was defective as well . So basically , you are paying good money for a refurbished device that will more than likely have issues. So, your T-Mobile device protection plan is just a scam to sell you the poorly recycled devices in the warehouse. Your Welcome America ..

Assurant in Wayne, Pennsylvania - Misled and misinformed, leading to a VERY unsatisfied customer
During my present claim experience which I initiated a week ago, I have been given incorrect information and misled by several of their representatives on several occasions, to the point where it has turned out to be a significantly POOR customer service experience and experience with this company overall. I was essentially promised one phone and am now getting a different one, through the misinformation given by several of your representatives, and I am very displeased, frustrated, and unsatisfied with this process and company.

Assurant - Dumb agents
My mother broke her phone and we called the insurance company, they filed a claim but the filed a claim on my device and reported it stolen, I called them back telling that they made a mistake, filed a new claim and boom, not approved. I just called them the third time and they can't find the such device. *** idiots, been waiting for 3 weeks now 3!!!
